Hi!!! I’m back! I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas with full of family, fun and …of course… FOOD! 2020 is less than 4 days away. Seriously, where has the time gone?!
But… before diving headfirst into those resolutions, there’s room for (a few) more indulgence right? 😉 Well, I’m here to help. This creamy cocktail is dessert combines the best of Black Forest Cake and booze to really kick off the New Years!
The Black Forest
Ingredients
- 4 shots coffee liqueur
- 4 shots Kirsch
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
Cherry Syrup (will make extra)
- 3 Tbsp Cherry preserves
- 1.5 Tbsp water
Directions
Cherry Syrup
In a small pan over low/medium heat, combine preserves and water. Bring to a boil, remove from heat and allow to cook completely
To Finish
In a blender, combine kirsch, coffee liqueur, cream and 2 Tbsp cherry syrup in a blender. Blend on high for 30 -60sec. Pour into martini glasses, garnish with cocoa power and cherries. Serve and enjoy!
