My Food Bucket List

My Food Bucket List

Hi! I missed last week, but I’m back now!

Life has been quite busy lately between research, classes and hanging out with friends. Last weekend was CMUs annual spring carnival (back after COVID hiatus). It was quite incredible. Unfortunately, Pissburgh weather got into the way…

More sadly, all these events meant not much time in the kitchen 😦

So, instead I thought I’d do a personal post and share some items from my food bucket list. These are quite lofty, but that’s what bucket lists are for right?

Here are my top 5

Dine at every 3 Michelin star restaurant– there are 121 of them. I’ll start with the one in Shanghai and move on from there!

Become known for one of my recipes– this one is a long shot to say the least, but I’d consider myself pretty creative. Gochujang fudge anyone?

Start a dinner club– now, for something more realistic, I want to start a dinner club to share my food and have great conversations with great people

Cook with Tom Kerridge– Gordon Ramsay gets all the hype, but Tom Kerridge is the one I really want to meet. He has a special knack for creativity while demonstrating respect for ingredients. There’s a reason he’s gotten his main course to the Great British Menu banquet twice.

Write a Book about Food/Cooking- I’m becoming more quantitative, but I’m still a writer at heart. I hope to combine these two some day (and maybe throw in some econ too)

I hope everyone enjoyed this! Have a great week. Until next time, Bye!
