Hi!!! The situation has unfortunately turned for the worse. I hope everyone is taking care of themselves physically and mentally. As we batten down the hatches, it’s time to pull out the non-perishables. These easy, delicious bean burgers are the perfect for those grey days at home.
Bean Burgers
Ingredients
- 1 can beans, drained
- 1/2 onions, finely diced
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- taco seasoning, to taste
- 4 Buns
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350F. Mash beans into a thick paste.
- In a pan over medium high heat, sauté onion until well cooked, 4-5 minutes
- Mix onions, bread crumbs, seasoning and egg into bean mixture and form into 4 patties. They will be soft
- In a pan over medium- high heat, sear the patties until a crust forms, 2-3 min/side. Transfer to oven and bake for 12-15min.
- Serve and enjoy with buns and condiments of choice!
