Hi!! I know I’ve been MIA. It isn’t math this time (Final isn’t until next week 😉 ). It’s the end of the semester so the OTHER courses have projects to wrap up….
As usual, when things get busy, it’s convenience > creativity -> no recipe. BUT, I do get creative thinking of ways to make life easier.
Guess what, I have more hacks to share!
Smash Garlic before peeling- Hate peeling garlic? Don’t go for oxidized, expensive pre- peeled garlic. just slice off the end, smash and the peel comes right off. Even helps with the chopping after
Montreal Steak Seasoning isn’t just for steaks- This stuff is MAGIC- works for any meat, poultry, fish… It even works as a “spice blend” in sauces. Seriously, go to Costco and get some!
Use Plastic Wrap to Skim Fat- Greasy soup is disgusting, but the effort it takes to manually skim off fat just isn’t worth it most of the time. Well, here’s the hack. Stick a piece of plastic wrap to the surface of the soup, leave in fridge overnight, and peel off the grease!…. if only real fat loss was that easy 😉
Let Blenders Clean Themselves- Instead of taking the blender apart and rinsing, add water, soap and let it rip! The movement of the water and soap will clear up the debris in no time. Just rinse out the soap or stick in to the dishwasher for hassle free clean up!
That’s a wrap for this week! I hope everyone found these hacks helpful! Are there other gamechanging ones I should try? Let me know!
But… until next time, have a great week! Bye!
