Miso Braised Collard Greens

Hi!!! I hope everyone is still holding up okay in the midst of all this uncertainty. While it’s certainly understandable to mope, I try to look at the tastier side. Yep, coronavirus has provided the perfect excuse to hunker down and cook! Here’s another tasty one. Let’s get cooking!


Miso Braised Collard Greens

Ingredients

  • 12 cups collard greens
  • 3Tbsp miso paste
  • 1.25 cup water or low sodium chicken stock
  • butter, optional

Direction

  1. In a large pot over medium high heat, sauté greens until leaves begin to wilt.
  2. Add miso paste and water, and bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat to medium low and simmer for 25-30 min until greens are tender
  4. Serve and enjoy!
